Adjusting to Salvador…

It’s been a while since I updated my blog- apologies!

Lets just say I’m adjusting to Salvador! Every corner has something intriguing to offer…

And nothing here is done in haste!

When I think of Bahia, I immediately think of it’s capital Salvador and it’s strong Afro-Brazilian culture.

Little did I know areas of Bahia, particually the south of the state has been occupied by Indigenous Indians from the time of the earliest records of the region (1610) to the present.

In the mean time I’ll leave you with this pic taken yesterday when I bought my new fav jewellery piece hand-made by indigenous Indians.

There have been many events happening in this dynamic city I can’t wait to update you on so stay tuned!!

So what do you think? About the necklace (and/or the handsome Brazilians!!)
