When I decided to volunteer in the Dominican Republic little did I know I would learn so much about Korean culture- of all things! A culture so different from my own however one I’ve grown to love and respect. I can’t wait to get back to London and practise the few words I’ve learnt… (That’s for another video)!
Proof that the world really is a global village and volunteering is a great way to gain a truly unique cultural experience!
Here’s a taste of what myself and fellow volunteer and flat-mate, Soo get up to at the end of the day when the staff leave the office and we’re left to our own devices…
A tasty fusion of our cultures!
